About Me

My photo
I am Sarah, a stay at home mom of two wonderful, little boys. In my life before kids I was a fifth grade teacher. I now work with first year teachers, which I love. Creating is one of the ways I stay sane. I become very cranky if I have not stamped or scrapped in a while. Join me on this creative journey.

Embellished Somethings Challenge

I have been having some issues lately. I could not stamp. LOL I could not for the life of me finish a project I liked. For two days I have tried to do this challenge for Stamp Something and I just couldn't do it. I think it was too broad...embellish something....BIG SIGH. So this is what I finally came up with. I don't love it but it is done and now I can move on! I used Rose Red as a background and stamped the flower using Versamark and then clear embossing powder. I put together the flowers using flower fusion. I stamped the For You from Say it with Scallops and then punched it out using the square scallop punch. I then used my paper piercer to pierce all the around. Enjoy! Thanks for stopping by.

Perserverance should be a prerequisite tatoo that all stampers should have on our arms! That way, when we have a rough week, we can just look at it and we'll always remember that our mojo WILL come back! Good on ya for stickin' it out! TFS!

Your mojo will come back to you ... I'm currently having the same slump problems. Must be in the air.

Super cute! Love the use of the felt flowers and all the flowers at the bottom. A nice and cheerful card! Thanks for playing along with us. :)

I hear you on the finding it hard to stamp and finish something. I have had a major creative block and haven't stamped much since Monday. I love the colors and those flowers are some of my favorites.

Wow I love this card! Don't worry I think we all go through a "can't stamp" time. I've had trouble lately myself.
