About Me

My photo
I am Sarah, a stay at home mom of two wonderful, little boys. In my life before kids I was a fifth grade teacher. I now work with first year teachers, which I love. Creating is one of the ways I stay sane. I become very cranky if I have not stamped or scrapped in a while. Join me on this creative journey.

Red, Black and White

What a fun color challenge from Come and Get it Challenges. What you can't tell from the picture is that the white circle is actually on the inside of the card. So not a wedding invitation that anyone would send to guests but I like it. :) Be sure to hop over and check out the other red, black and white goodies. Enjoy and thanks for stopping by.

LOL

Happy Tuesday! I wanted to pop in with this card that I made for a tag team challenge from Cas-ual Fridays and Clean and Simple Stamping. I took a little liberty with the sketch, but I like the way it turned out. I used white cardstock, cork paper, PTI stamps and some fun embellies I found in my drawer. Enjoy and thanks for stopping by.

Ready for school

We are almost there....my husband is already back, his teachers start tomorrow, Reid goes back next Tuesday and I go back the following Monday and finally Elias goes back the Tuesday after Labor Day. Can you say CRAZY! Anyway, I had this cool container just begging for some Echo Park paper to make it super cute. We are in the process of getting Reid's desk school ready and I thought this would be a cool addition. The paper is Echo Park and the stamps are PTI. Enjoy and thanks for stopping by.

You are Wonderful

Hey There! The challenge over at Less is More is to make a card using the colors of your nation's flag. Interesting challenge, but I had fun with this one. I used Echo Park paper and my PTI stamps. Busy week here at the White House so I am off. Enjoy and thanks for stopping by.

CFC #14

Time for another Cas-ual Friday Challenge. The challenge was to use glue dots and glitter. Totally easy for the middle balloon but for the bigger two I used my circle punches and covered them with multiple glue dots and then let the glitter fly. It took a few times but I finally got it right. The paper is Echo Park adn the stamps are PTI. Enjoy and thanks for stopping by.

Whale of a Day

Happy Monday! We had a very busy but fun weekend that included a bowling birthday party for my four year old. My nephew also turns four this week (no, my sister and I didn't plan it that way) I made this card using Echo Park paper and my PTI stamps. I am not loving the picture quality of this photo, I apologize for that. :) Enjoy and thanks for stopping by.

ATime to Remember

My sister and brother-in-law's anniversary was yesterday. I made this card for them, although now that I look at it, it seems to be more of a wedding card than an anniversary. I made it for a circle challenge but of course (insert annoyed sarcasm at self) I missed the deadline by an hour. So if you know of any current challenges that this would work for let me know. LOL Enjoy and thanks for stopping by.
Right after I posted this I was visiting my blogging buddy, Cheryl's blog and saw a circle challenge from The Cheerful Stamp Pad. A very fun challenge site that I will be visiting again.
