My First Swap

I am going to my first swap tonight. One of the teachers at the school my husband works at is also a SU demonstrator. She has invited me to her upline's house for their monthly meeting. They are doing a swap where everyone had to use the Flight of the Butterfly stamp set. I saw a card on Nancy Riley's blog that used this stamp set so I borrowed her idea and tried to make it my own. Honestly, not one of my favorites sets because it is a two step stamp and I also mess up the placement of them. I was really wanting a stamp-a-ma-jig when I was putting these together, it would have been most helpful. Do any of you have one? Do you like it? Let me know if it is a purchase I should look into. I will let you know how the swap goes tomorrow. Thanks for stopping by.
All Supplies Stampin' Up
Stamps: Flight of the Butterfly
Cardstock: Pumpkin Pie, Riding Hood Red, So Saffron, Whisper White

Hi Sarah! I love your butterfly card. I do have a stamp-a-ma-jig and I have to be honest...I don't use it unless I ABSOLUTELY have to! I should probably use it more! I'm one of those people that think when you're using two-step stampin', it adds a little "character" if it's not exactly matched up! LOL

I think your card is great though, and I would never have guessed that you didn't use a SAMJ!

Happy Stamping!

I love my stamp-a-ma-jig. In the beginning, i really didn't think I needed one. When I finally caved and bought one, I realized why it's so usefull. There's nothing worse than putting the final touch on a card and, splurch, you screw it up because you tried to eyeball it. All my customers have them now because I've shown all the ways it can be useful.
