Taylor's Cupcake Challenge and Birthday Somethings - Challenge

Hi there, Happy Sunday! I made this card for two challenges. Over at Stamp Something the challenge was to make something for a birthday. This card would be perfect for an eighth birthday but since we don't no anyone turning eight we are using it for an eightyth birthday, the inside says, The octopus couldn't hold 80 cupcakes! Happy Birthday! I have never done Taylor's Cupcake Challenge before (although I check it out every week) I decided to give it a shot. Taylor's featured stamper was Jenn (hey girl) and she made a card with an elephant holding a cupcake, I thought it would be cute to ink up my new octopus and have him hold some. :) The base is Glossy White and it is layered with Elegant Eggplant. The designer paper and the octopus is from Paper Source, the cupcake and buttons are from SU. I wanted to share with you that my card that I made for Mothers & Daughters won the challenge this week. (the one with the mug of hot chocolate) YEAH ME! :)
John and I had a date night last night, it was fun to get out. We had dinner and then went to a dessert party. Yup, your read right. Temptation is everywhere. I have decided to start WW tomorrow. There is a meeting at a church right across the street, it is a sign! (it better be!)
