About Me

My photo
I am Sarah, a stay at home mom of two wonderful, little boys. In my life before kids I was a fifth grade teacher. I now work with first year teachers, which I love. Creating is one of the ways I stay sane. I become very cranky if I have not stamped or scrapped in a while. Join me on this creative journey.

So Kind

Today I had a party with brand new stampers. I wanted to make cards that were simple and not overwhelming. I feel sometimes that we have so much to offer that I go overboard with my samples and use lots of stuff and it tends to look confusing to someone new. We made 2 cards using the Priceless stamp. The first card uses one piece of cardstock, one stamp set, one technique and one ribbon. Very simple and easy but kinda elegant. The second card uses the same stamp set but now incorporates our designer paper and punches. I found similar cards on Splitcoast which is where I got my inspiration. :)

Supplies Used: All supplies are SU
Cardstock: Whisper White, Pink Pirouette, Riding Hood Red
Stamp Set: Priceless
Designer Paper: Candy Lane
Accessories: ribbon, scallop circle punch, 1 3/8 circle punch, 1 1/4 circle punch, oval punch

I hope you all had a wonderful Valentine's Day. John and I actually went to the movies. We saw Gran Torino. It was really excellent. I want to leave you with a picture of the goodies I put on everyone's breakfast plates yesterday. I used Martha Stewart test tubes and used the scallop punch. Simple but cute. Enjoy and thanks for stopping by.
