About Me

My photo
I am Sarah, a stay at home mom of two wonderful, little boys. In my life before kids I was a fifth grade teacher. I now work with first year teachers, which I love. Creating is one of the ways I stay sane. I become very cranky if I have not stamped or scrapped in a while. Join me on this creative journey.

Clean and Simple

Do you have a box of photos just waiting to be scrapped? I most certainly do and I have to say that the guilt of not having done a baby book for Elias is huge, I have to finish it. Okay, with that being said I decided to Jennifer Buck's clean and simple challenge again. I put my hand in my photo box and randomly chose an envelope with pictures. I came up with my Hanukkah photos. These pictures make me laugh (you can't tell because I had a hard time getting a clear picture) but the top photos show the mess John and I made making potato latkes. We must have made 3o of them for just the four of us! What a waste. Anyway, back to the challenge, not only were you suppose to follow the sketch you also needed to add stamping to your page. The border at the bottom is stamped using my Papertrey, Mazel Tov set. I have to say I find it difficult stamping backgrounds because I tend to mess up or the ink gets on the page. I do like the finished product. Enjoy and thanks for stopping by.

I like it!!! It's clean and simple, and sometimes that's just the best way to be. A great page to put in an album.
