About Me

My photo
I am Sarah, a stay at home mom of two wonderful, little boys. In my life before kids I was a fifth grade teacher. I now work with first year teachers, which I love. Creating is one of the ways I stay sane. I become very cranky if I have not stamped or scrapped in a while. Join me on this creative journey.

Clean & Simple #4

I once again tried Jenn's sketch for scrapping. She challenged us to not only scrap using the sketch but to journal as well. Does anyone have any tips for taking photos of 12 x 12 pages? I can't seem to get it right. Anyway I put my hand into my photo box and pulled out pictures of my friend Rhonda's bridal shower. I used black cardstock for the top page and layered it with designer paper. I used some bling for embellishments and journaled on vellum. I had so many pictures from that day that I decided to do a second page. I wanted it to look like a chalkboard almost and used my white gel pen to journal around the pictures. Not very exciting but it got the job done. Enjoy and thanks for stopping by.

I like your page! I must start my scrapbooking again. I can't give any tips on the photos, as I've never taken pics of my pages.

Very nice layouts Sarah! My pages always turn out dark in my pics. Some people use a light box.
