I am Sarah, a stay at home mom of two wonderful, little boys. In my life before kids I was a fifth grade teacher. I now work with first year teachers, which I love. Creating is one of the ways I stay sane. I become very cranky if I have not stamped or scrapped in a while. Join me on this creative journey.

Cute little note cards

Happy Sunday. What a weekend I have had. I hosted a shower, went to opening day for t-ball, went to a birthday party and had my stamp group. WOW! This is another project we did today, we made 3 x 3 note cards and we made our own envelopes (sorry no photo) I wanted to demonstrate a masking technique. My blogging buddy Traci had an example on her blog using this technique. I thought they would make cute gifts. Basically what you do is stamp the image on your card and then using your scallop square punch, take the part that is not the punch out and place it on your image. You then use your sponge daubers and ink inside the mask. Clear as mud? If you have any questions, just let me know. Enjoy and thanks for stopping by. All supplies SU.

Here is a picture of my guys on opening day.
