Firecracker USA

I came home from work today and there was a package from Melodie Hand over at Elemental Doodles. It is called Firecracker USA and you can check out the whole set here. This set comes with 22 stamps, I knew as soon as I saw it I wanted to make my own designer paper. Michelle Wooderson over at Mish Mash did this a while back and I really wanted to try it. (she even used a patriotic set as well) You can see her post here. I loaded up my block with 7 stamps and used Real Red ink, I then went back with the bitty stars and used Brilliant Blue ink. Finally I used the postage stamp and highlighted a few times. On the side I adhered red, white and blue ribbon and then attached chipboard stars and the sentiment onto chipboard as well. It is a bit busy (says my husband) but I think it is super festive. Enjoy and thanks for stopping by.
