Papertrey December Blog Hop Challenge

Holiday Leftovers

It's that time again for our annual holiday leftovers challenge! Use scraps of wrapping paper, parts of holiday cards, recycle gift tags or bits of ribbon on a paper crafting project. We all have plenty of it laying around after all the holiday excitement and this is your chance to incorporate some of those pretty little things into an amazing piece of art!

I hope you all had a wonderful holiday. I was happy to have a chance to work on this challenge. My husband is an assistant principal in an elementary school. During the holidays he gets lots of gift cards. Have you ever noticed how pretty gift card envelopes are? When I give gift cards (probably you as well) I make my own, but I couldn't ignore these all ready made holders. I used my Banner Builder set and my dies to make this card. The sentiment is from Signature Greetings. The banners are made out of Starbucks, Barnes & Noble, Cheese Cake Factory, Menchies and Chipotle gift card holders. The red background is made from a gift bag. The stars are also made from the holders. This was such a fun challenge. Enjoy and thanks for stopping by.
