About Me

My photo
I am Sarah, a stay at home mom of two wonderful, little boys. In my life before kids I was a fifth grade teacher. I now work with first year teachers, which I love. Creating is one of the ways I stay sane. I become very cranky if I have not stamped or scrapped in a while. Join me on this creative journey.

Lunchtime Sketch Challenge #37

Hello, I hope everyone is having a nice day. I would like to report that while we are still a little crusty we seem to be better. Thank goodness. I spend a lot of time checking out blogs and I am always finding really talented, fun stampers. One of these is Mary Jo at Technostamper. She had a neat challenge posted so I thought I would play along. Yes, I realize she used squares, but I couldn't get the dimensions right using squares so I opted for rectangles. I needed a card for a friend of mine who is adopting a little boy, Max from Korea. She found out yesterday that he will be arriving on Monday. I wanted to make a card to let them know how excited I am for them. I used Chocolate Chip as the base (4 1/4 by 5 1/2), and layered it with Bashful Blue (4 3/4 by 4) and So Saffron (4 1/2 by 3 1/4) As you can see I am still loving the crimper. I used Washington Apple to make photo corners. I stamped the bear and sentiment from the retired set Bundle of Joy. Enjoy! Sarah
