Kazan's Sketch and Happy Birthday Lauren

Hi there, I hope you are all having a wonderful Tuesday. I am having a much better day. I am crossing off things on my to do list. (it is ever growing) Anyway, this card is for Kazan's sketch at 2sketches4 you. My older sister (you got the older, right?) turned 40 this weekend. Her husband whisked her off to New Hampshire for the weekend. I am sending her this card with a present inside. ( I can't tell you just in case she checks out my blog) I really like using pictures on my cards, they give them a homey feel. The picture on the card is when I would have to say I am 3 which makes her 5. I remember this day (no joke) I think it was my birthday and Lauren gave me (okay my parents did but they said it was from her) this mushroom toy and I remember thinking why would I want a mushroom toy. My Dad made me give her a kiss to thank her. I have the original framed, I really love this picture of us. Anyway enough nostalgia. The card is on Riding Hood Red and is layered with So Saffron, Bashful Blue and designer paper from Washington Apple. I used chipboard and dunked it in Riding Hood Red and Bashful Blue.
All Supplies Stampin' Up (the sentiment Happy is from Mazel Tov from Papertry)
Cardstock: Riding Hood Red, So Saffron, Bashful Blue
Designer Paper: Washington Apple
Inks: Riding Hood Red, Bashful Blue
Accesories: chipboard, scallop edge punch

Really cool sketch! I also like that you put pics on your cards. Good job!! Happy b-day to your sis! I'm curious by nature so when she receives the gift, you have to come back and tell us what it is!! LOL!
