2 Sketches 4 You

I love this stamp set. It is Retro Boutique and it is from Gina K. It came out in June 2008 and I have wanted it forever. I remember when it was released I showed everyone this set, my Mom, John, Reid, Elias....okay you get the idea. At the time I was not buying any stamps that were not SU. Since I have branched out a bit I gave myself permission to get it! It came today. It is the little things that make me happy. :) Anyway, I used it for the sketch over at 2 Sketches 4 You. I took some creative license as you can see. This set screams paper piecing to me. I stamped the purse, perfume bottles and mirror onto designer paper and cut them out. I would love to say that I stamped the sentiment crooked on purpose but it was the last thing I did and it is crooked. I am okay with that (okay not really) but that's my story and I am sticking to it. Just to be forewarned, you have not seen the last of this set.
