About Me

My photo
I am Sarah, a stay at home mom of two wonderful, little boys. In my life before kids I was a fifth grade teacher. I now work with first year teachers, which I love. Creating is one of the ways I stay sane. I become very cranky if I have not stamped or scrapped in a while. Join me on this creative journey.

It is a Pirate's Life for Me

This past summer Reid's camp went on a field trip to a Pirate's boat on the Chesapeake Bay. It was such a fun day. I have never seen Reid and his friends so into the story the "pirates" were telling them. Stampin' Up's now retired set Ahoy, Matey was perfect for these pages. (thanks Rhonda) If anyone has some suggestions for taking pictures of scrapbook pages please pass them on. I have such a hard time taking good photos of double page spreads. I was a scrapbooker long before I started to make cards. I have found my scrapbooking has pretty much taken a back seat to the cards. Making these pages really reminded me how much I like to do it. That and the fact that Elias does not have his own scrapbook and Reid has 3. Enjoy the rest of your Sunday and thanks for stopping by.

These are great Sarah - it looks like you guys had a great time. I started with scrapbooking 10 years ago and love it tremendously; however, when I started doing cards approximately 1 1/2 years ago, I can't seem to go back to it like I want to, but I am determined to get started soon. Can't wait to see more of your layouts.

Love your SB pages. I've also loved the Ohey Matey set, very fun! I love how the pictures are the man focus of your page. I like the frilly SB pages but I'm about the pictures when it comes to SBing!
