The Pink Elephant Challenge

Happy Tuesday! A bit of a rough day today, it is very hot and my boys tend to get a bit cranky (as does their mother) We had swimming, ran errands and then played outside and then all you know what broke loose. I didn't think 5 year olds were suppose to have tantrums. I am sure the neighbors think I am a horrible mom. Oh well, guess what got them out of their crankiness, peaches, I am not kidding. They were big and juicy and messy and just what we needed. So now Elias is sleeping, Reid is playing and mom is hiding. On to my card. The challenge over at The Pink Elephant was a sketch one and I loved the sketch. Isn't the face stamp so cool. It is one of my new stamps from Elemental Doodles. I think it is the neatest image. The inside sentiment says "The talent of writing agreeable letters is peculiarly female" Something to ponder. Enjoy and thanks for stopping by.

At least you discovered the peached! Isn't it funny what will make a cranky kid happy! Very pretty card, I like the four square panels behind you main image. The inside is great too!

Love your color combos. That newspaper print is terrific. The layered scallops look great, I love how you used different scale scallops. Fun Card.

What a cool looking card. Love how you used the face image.

And just a heads up on the tantrums......I don't think the boys ever grow out of them. They just show them in different ways as they get older. I guess you could say their tantrums "evolve" a bit. LOL I have a 16 and 18 year old sons and a 43 year old hubby that STILL have tantrums. LOL
