Pencil Boxes for the Teachers

Teacher Appreciation for my son's nursery school got off to a somewhat rocky start. I had ordered the coffee on Wed. but decided to stop by yesterday to pay for it so I could just run in and grab it in the morning. The lovely barristas assured me that they had the order and it would be ready for me in the morning. Low and behold they couldn't find the order this morning and it was not ready. After a mini meltdown I calmly told them to get it ready and have it delivered to the school as soon as it was. Problem solved, until I drive into the school parking lot and the building is not yet opened, the woman who usually opens it got stuck in traffic. Well now that it is over it woked out fine and the teachers had a lovely breakfast. Tomorrow they will receive a pencil box and half the staff will get a massage (the other half will get one on Friday) You can find directions for these boxes here. You can also find the candy boxes from the last post here. Don't forget today starts the new challenge blog over at Scrap it with a Song. The song is one by Elton John and is a perfect inspiration. Enjoy and thanks for stopping by.

These are SUPER CUTE!! What a great gift for the teachers (and your post below this one too).
Sorry you had a difficult time this morning. When I find myself going nuts over this stuff, I really try to take one step back and take a deep inhale and exhale.
It's not "as" bad as we think it is and we just need to adjust (like you did!!!)

Sarah, sorry to hear that your day started out so difficult for you, but it sounds like it all turned out well in the end. The pencil boxes and chocolate bags are absolutely adorable and I'm sure all the teachers appreciate your efforts in making their week so special!

I LOVE these! Very nice- and since a lot of people do nothing for teacher appreciation day, that makes your handmade gift even worth even more!
