About Me

My photo
I am Sarah, a stay at home mom of two wonderful, little boys. In my life before kids I was a fifth grade teacher. I now work with first year teachers, which I love. Creating is one of the ways I stay sane. I become very cranky if I have not stamped or scrapped in a while. Join me on this creative journey.

An Obsession with Explosion Boxes

Tomorrow I have my stamping group and I have decided to play with explosion boxes. At first I will started out somewhat simple, this would look really cute with a little candy treat in it. There is a great tutorial on Splitcoast for this box.

I thought we would start with this and then move on to the coolest part. I love the concept of putting pictures in here. We celebrated Elias's first birthday this summer at Rehoboth Beach. My nephew Nate turned one two weeks later so we did a joint party. How cool is it that I can fit all of my pictures and journaling in here? I know pretty cool. I used rub-ons to help tell my story. Rub-ons are actually on sale right now, they add just a little something - something to a scrapbook page or card. Anyway all my materials used were Stampin' Up. If you would like complete directions let me know and I can send them to you.
